A game server is never just the game. Behind every network there is a store where players buy ranks, a panel where staff restart and update servers, and a website that tells new players what the community is about. We have spent years on the in-game side: plugins, maps, models and the infrastructure behind our own servers. Today we are announcing a partnership with a team that has spent the same years on the other side of that picture.

Who datdzn are

datdzn builds drop-in themes and addons for the platforms that game communities and hosts run on: Tebex, Pterodactyl, WHMCS, Paymenter and Calagopus. Their products are designed to install without editing core files, so an update to the underlying platform does not mean redoing the work.

Their licensing follows the same thinking. Every product is sold with a lifetime license: you pay once and keep every update, with the key bound to your domain and checked quietly in the background. The catalogue currently includes:

  • Pterodactyl: Next Theme, a full panel theme, alongside addons such as Backups, Autopilot, Databases, MC Installer, Startup, Updater, Maintenance and Auth.
  • Tebex: Origin Theme, available for free.

Their products are sold through BuiltByBit, the same marketplace Speaway sells on.

What the partnership covers

From 24 September 2026, Speaway and datdzn will work together on web themes and plugins. In practice, that means the two teams share their work instead of building it twice:

  • One stack, end to end. Server owners can take the in-game side from Speaway and the panel, store and website side from datdzn, built by teams that talk to each other.
  • Shared expertise. We bring what we learn running live Minecraft servers; datdzn brings what they learn building themes and addons for the panels and stores those servers depend on.
  • Joint work on new releases. Projects that sit between the game and the web, where one side alone would only solve half the problem, are now built together.

Why it makes sense

Most of the problems we see on client servers do not live in a single place. A rank bought on the store has to arrive in the game. A server installed from the panel has to boot with the right plugins and configs. A maintenance window has to be announced on the website and respected in-game. Those hand-offs are where things break, and they are exactly where our two teams meet.

Working together means those hand-offs are designed once, by the people who build both ends.

What happens next

Nothing changes for existing customers of either team: your licenses, downloads and support stay where they are. New joint work will be announced here on the Speaway articles page and on both teams' Discord servers.
